Sucks for the Irish. At least Henry was honest about it afterwards and said he would be ok with a replay. It would have been pretty cheesy if he'd pulled a Maradonna and denied it for decades.
Changing the subject, congrats to Real Salt Lake (representing one of my old haunts) for their MLS cup victory. It was a pretty exciting game and even though I'm not a Donovan hater, it gave me a little twinge of satisfaction to see him miss his PK. Dude's a little smug if you ask me. And props to Beckham for playing through the pain, Michael Jordan style. Hopefully he'll be fit enough come June to help England lose in the WC semis (just kidding, Phil).
